February Goals

February Goals

One of my biggest goals for 2015 has been to be more intentional when it comes to planning, I definitely didn’t succeed last month but am starting off with a few February goals to help keep me on track this month.

January was definitely a bit of an off month, I was (still am, truthfully) feeling a little bit stuck, that combined with the cold and darkness of winter kind of stripped me of creativity and led to more slacking off than I care to admit. With that said it definitely went by very quickly and I’m very thankful for that. I’m hoping that by setting some February goals it will help to get me out of the rut I’ve apparently moved into and moving forward!

I kicked off February with an amazing and far too short trip to Naples with one of my best friends from high school. It was so nice to be able to relax on the beach and at the pool, even if it was only for 2 days. When we got back we were hit with a bit of a reality check in the form of 30 degree rainy/snowy weather, not ideal after soaking up every ounce of vitamin D we could over the weekend.

February is always a tough little month for me, I’m not sure what it is about it but the shortest month of the year always manages to feel  like the absolute longest! But after such a great start to the month I’m determined to keep it going and enjoy it this year.

1 // Read a book, start to finish

2 // Get to the gym at least 3 times a week

3 // Set an editorial calendar 2 weeks out

4 // Start figuring out what I’m going to do next

5 // Spend more time with friends and less time with Netflix

6 // More positivity and less complaining

7 // Take more pictures and work on photography skills
