Link Love Vol 12

Link Love Vol 12

Its Friday! Finally, I forgot how slow the week passes when you’re working in an office, but I’m so excited to be back into a semi normal routine, I also love my new job. It’s also been a lot of fun to explore my new city a little bit! I can’t wait to start sharing some of my new favorite spots with y’all, spoiler alert: they involve lots of succulents and green juice… sorry not sorry.

It’s been a hectic week and I have a lot of exciting things going on, don’t forget to check out my 31 Days of Blogging 101 challenge, the new advertising hub and the blog and social media consultations I’m now offering! It’s been a big week and I seriously enjoyed being able to poke around and find some fun links to share with y’all for a little bit of link love vol 12!

1. Ralph Lauren is stepping down and tapping in the Old Navy Global President

2. Probably the funniest thing I’ve read this week, look at Woolworth’s comments

3. Dreams are coming true, you can have Christmas dinner at Hogwarts

4. This mom is amazing, she’s giving her daughters the best gift imaginable: confidence.

5. And here’s your weekly dose of adorableness

Finally, not a link, but take a few moments today to say a prayer, send white light or positive energy or just think about the victims of the shooting at Umpqua Community College yesterday. Unfortunately, these things are happening more and more and many of us are becoming desensitized to it. Let’s all take a minute today to remember that these things should shock and horrify us, that’s the only way they will hopefully stop happening. Take some time to tell people close to you that you love them, to complement a stranger or ask them if they’re okay, pay one random act of kindness forward in hopes that next year we won’t have 45 school shootings in the next 9 months.

Try and stay dry this weekend and out of Hurricane Joaquin’s way, I’m flying back to DC today which is less than ideal but hopefully I’ll make it without too many delays! I’ll admit though, the idea of staying inside for the rest of the weekend and watching movies while watching the rain sounds pretty great to me! What are your plans this weekend?
