Links I Love

It’s almost Friday y’all! I’m headed up to New York to meet my mom and sister to celebrate my not- so-little sister’s 21st birthday! We’re also meeting up with a couple of my friends from high school to see a couple of my sister’s friends from high school perform at the ICCA finals, which is basically real life Pitch Perfect. Perks of being from a small town: everyone knows everyone, so it should be a lot of fun!

I have spent so much time in New York this year that I feel like it has become a second home. I haven’t been since the last weekend of February so I’m excited to get back this weekend and see some of my friends. Then next week it’s back to DC to get ready for Bali!! I have a feeling the next 9 days are going to go by very, very quickly!

In honor of the ICCAs I have a little bit of a music-heavy links I love for y’all today!

love this music video! It’s so cute and I notice something different every time I watch it. Yes I’ve watched it more than once. No I won’t tell you how many times.

The Nor’Easters are an incredible group. They’ve performed at the White House for the President and First Lady and are currently part of a new docu-series coming out called Sing it On, presented by POP!

The other group we’re going to see, The G-Men, are equally as incredible. They have also performed at the White House, and this isn’t their first appearance at the ICCA finals! We know one of the guys in each group, which makes the competition on Saturday that much more fun to watch!

Visit these groups on Facebook to hear some more of their incredible music and give them some love before the competition this weekend!

Some other links I love this week:

Edible spray paint powdered donuts. These are so pretty, I want to give them a try for sure!

The Lilly Pulitzer for Target Collab launches on Sunday! I love this article about your game plan for the launch!

J.Crew is having a crazy sale with some pieces up to 75% off, including this dress!

Since I’m back in the process of job hunting (I forgot how much I hate applying for jobs. Cover letters might be the death of me!) I’ve been reading a lot of articles about the process, especially interviewing. While I’m usually pretty good at interviews (read: pretty good at talking about myself)  I loved this post on The College Prepster about The Three Most Important Questions You’ll Answer In Any Interview.

I hope you all are having a lovely week. One more day and then it’s the weekend!
