Being Thankful
31 Days of Fall lifestyle

Weekly Words: Being Thankful

In my mind Fall is broken into 2 parts, I think it’s partially because in Boston late October and early November is traditionally cold, way colder than normal Fall weather (whatever that is, considering it was 80 degrees today I’m not sure honestly.) The first part of Fall is September/October, it’s full of apple picking, hot apple cider, trips to the fair and carving pumpkins and then once November hits it’s all about Thanksgiving, being thankful for our families, friends and everything we are so blessed to have in our lives. The Holiday season seems to officially kick off, November is like the pre-season to Christmas in my mind! I cannot believe that October is almost over, this month absolutely flew by and I’m getting really excited for the next couple of months, the holidays and the new year! Today I am thankful for so much, it’s so easy to go through each day overlooking all of the little things we should be thankful for, its a little less than a month from Thanksgiving so I wanted to share some great quotes about being thankful to start getting you in the mood!

Being Thankful

“Be thankful for what you have and you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” – Oprah Winfrey

“It’s not happy people who are thankful, it’s thankful people who are happy.”

“We must find the time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives” -John F. Kennedy

“Gratitude is the sign of noble souls.” -Aesop

Take a minute this morning and think about what you are thankful for (we don’t have to wait till Thanksgiving dinner to go around the table and announce what we’re thankful for!) tell someone you love you’re thankful that they are in your life!

Are you getting excited for November and all that comes with it? What are you thankful for this morning?
