weekly words of wisdom

a little bit late is better than never. here is this week’s words of wisdom that have been on my mind this week. they center mostly around family and friends as i have been reminded time and time again over the last couple of months how important our family and friends are no matter how crazy they may drive us.

1. “being a family means you are part of something wonderful if means you will love and be loved of the rest of your life no matter what.” -anonymous

2. “ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten” -stitch

3. “good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them… your smile, your hope, and your courage.” -doe zantamata

4. “there is always, always, always something to be thankful for.” – anonymous

all of these quotes focus on the same thing regardless of whether you’re related by blood, close friends or an adopted alien from outer space, family means something, it means endless love and support no matter what you may be facing in your life. it means you will always have a home and people to love and care for you. this week was a great reminder to me how amazing family can truly be. i’ve watched a family come together and step up to the plate to truly support and care for j’s brother who is battling kidney cancer. the love and support that have come from people from all over truly reminded me how important it is to be thankful for family and friends because they are the ones who will always be there for you.
