Shortly before I left for Paris I connected with the most lovely dress maker in Northern Virginia, Rebekah of Virginia Dare Dress Co. Her dresses have been on my radar for a while and I knew I wanted to have one with me in my suitcase for Paris. Since joining my closet, it’s quickly become my favorite dress for every occasion!
I ended up with The Emma in green, a color I don’t have a lot of in my closet but after adding this dress into the rotation, I’m thinking I need to pick up a few more things in this gorgeous color.

The Emma is one of the comfiest dresses I’ve ever owned. It has the perfect amount of stretch and structure (plus pockets!!!) and looks good for every occasion. I wore it in Paris when we found the cutest tea shop to stop and write a few notes to send home, and since coming have to D.C. have worn it to work, dinner, church, and even on the plane! Because of the simple style and silhouette it’s so easy to dress up or down ,and accessorize.
