As much as I love summer time I’m starting to get really antsy for fall fashion. I love this time of year when it’s still warm and I can still enjoy my shorts and sun dresses while drooling over all the gorgeous window displays at the mall. With the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale going on I have to say I’ve done a little more than just drool over fall fashion but that’s a different story for a different day…
This weekend I’m going to be heading to Potomac Mills to look at some fall fashion at one of Teen Vogue’s Back to School Saturday afternoons! I’m so excited to see some of the Teen Vogue’s top trends for back to school. I know I’m not technically going back to school come September but old habits die hard, and shopping for a “first day of school outfit” used to be one of my favorite habits so I’m especially looking forward to this event.
The back to school with Teen Vogue event looks like a blast full of tons of looks from top retailers, photo booths, flash tattoos (my favorite) and a beauty bar. And of course cupcakes because what fashion event is complete without cupcakes? The answer is there isn’t one…
Some of the looks they’ve released already are gorgeous, I love this mini look book that I pulled the images from! I’m a little jealous that I didn’t get to back to school with Teen Vogue when I was actually in school! I’m super excited to be seeing so many moto cut jackets again for this fall, and the oversized cardis, fringe and faux fur are swoon worthy and reminiscent of the 70’s. Is it October yet?
