I’m so excited for the big reveal of the new blog design today! I’ve really wanted to have the blog redesigned for several months now and i’m so excited that it finally happened!
I worked with the lovely Kate of The Lotus Creative and I cannot say enough good things about her! Seriously, I think she might be magic. She’s so amazing and was able to take all of my scatterbrained ideas and create this gorgeous design of my dreams! Kate has an amazing process and questionnaire that helps to nail down aspects that you otherwise might not think about, as well as giving her an idea of who you are which for me was huge because I wanted to infuse as much of me into the design as possible! I also loved that she used pinterest design boards to get a better idea of what I wanted! The whole process was seamless, start to finish. I mentioned to her yesterday that I had completely forgotten she was several time zones ahead of me because she was so responsive with emails and got design ideas to me so quickly!! Seriously, if you’re looking for someone to help with your blog design, look no further.
I’m kind of obsessed with the way it turned out. It’s made up of some of my absolute favorite colors and I think the overall design does a really good job of capturing me. It’s classic and streamlined but I love the texture in the watercolor at the top and the scripted title. I also really love the incorporation of my Instagram and Pinterest feeds on the side!
