Happy Friday! This week has been a long, interesting and emotional one. I’m heading to Florida today for a last minute trip to clear my head and recharge a little bit after being laid off at the beginning of the week. Although it’s been a bit of an emotional roller coaster, I’m thinking this is a blessing in disguise and I’m really looking forward to the next chapter. Once I figure out exactly what that entails I’ll be sure to let y’all know! For now, it will be great to finish up some projects I have been putting off and to finish planning my trip to Bali! I’m especially excited to be able to spend the next few weeks focusing full time on the blog, hopefully getting into a routine of daily posts and working on some fun enhancements to the site that I haven’t had time to do until now!
It couldn’t have been a better week to happen because spring has finally arrived in DC after what seemed like an eternal winter! It has been absolutely gorgeous out and I’ve been taking full advantage of it. I’m getting back into running after a very long hiatus post Dopey. My favorite part of this awesome Spring weather? Sleeping with the windows open and waking up to the chirping birds. The absolute best!
