Last week, I was lucky enough to go to the new Kendra Scott Bethesda with a bunch of my favorite DC bloggers and it was so much fun! Gorgeous jewelry, cupcakes, cocktails and great company — how could it be anything but a blast?
The store is gorgeous – so bright and crisp, which really allows the colorful jewelry shine! We were able to mingle and try on anything and everything, and I was like a kid in a candy shop. It was so much fun to play dress up while catching up with some of my favorite people!
Brittany put on such a fantastic event complete with custom Georgetown Cupcakes and the most adorable bubbly mojitos!
But the best part of the night was definitely getting to play around at The Color Bar!
In case you haven’t experienced The Color Bar, it is a section in the store with a couple of giant touch screens and a few iPads where you can design your own custom piece of Kendra Scott jewelry! You first pick out the style that you want, then you play around with cut, metal color, stone type and combination to design your very own piece! It is so much fun. I designed The Kellie Necklace with the iridescent druzy stones and, y’all, I’m obsessed!
Once you design your piece on the touchscreen, the incredible women that work there assemble your piece right in front of your eyes! It’s such a fun process to go through, and when you leave it’s exciting to know your piece is your own little twist on an incredible jewelry line!
The Color Bar would be such a fun stop for a bachelorette party. You should have seen all of us while we were all designing our pieces – we were so excited! If you’re in the area you must stop by the new Kendra Scott Bethesda. You should also definitely check out the color bar online or at your local store. I can’t stress enough how awesome it is!
