I have a really hard time sitting at my desk staring at emails, calendars and expenses all day long without getting distracted. While my job has parts of it that are great and really interesting, it is overall pretty uninspiring, which can be extremely frustrating. Sometimes I have to take a break because it feels like my head is going to explode. Okay that might be a tad dramatic, but I do need to give my brain a break from staring at the same things over and over again.
The other day I was flipping through Pinterest and I saw one of these amazing prints. I’ve been in full Christmas mode the last week or so, just barely resisting turning my apartment into Santa’s workshop. These prints are so pretty and a great fun way of spreading holiday cheer!
I love seeing the amazingly creative products people can come up with – it’s inspiring and in this particular instance completely turned my day around. It can be so easy to get caught up in our day to day lives and miss the small beautiful things. This was another great reminder to look for inspiration everywhere around us, especially in the people around us! Even beyond that, in this season it’s so important to spread holiday cheer and show how thankful we are for everything and everyone we have in our lives.
