I know Summer isn’t technically over for another couple of weeks but there is something about Labor Day that just always feels like it is the last day of the Summer. Maybe it’s that everyone is heading back to school and all the stores are full of scarves and boots. I’m not sure but it feels like it’s only natural to trade in the grill, bikinis, sunscreen and coverups for pumpkin spice lattes, booties, sweaters and apple picking.
2015 was an incredible Summer for me, I kicked it off with a dream trip to Bali and Australia with two of my closest friends and closed it out with another great trip to California with the same girls. The in between included an amazing weekend with friends at a lake house in PA, a couple of trips home and my favorite family vacation to date to Ecuador! I wanted to share my Summer 2015 through the lens to show you all some of my favorite shots!
For me this summer was one of the best, it has been a long 6 months of soul searching, traveling and being with friends and family (near and far). I’ve been lucky enough to be able to take the summer to figure some things out and grow bree west in the process and I’m so so grateful to all of you for helping me get to this point!
With my soul searching this summer came loads of new friends and a job at my local Pure Barre studio that I absolutely loved, I found new spots in DC to spend time and rediscovered why I love my hometown so much.
Labor Day Weekend always brought me a lot of excitement about a fresh start with school starting again! This year I’m getting that same excitement but for a different reason. Instead of starting a new school year I’m starting fresh in a new place! Last weekend I said goodbye to DC (for now at least) and started the process of a big move!
I am so excited to share more about it with you but for now I’d love to see what your Summer 2015 through the lens looks like!
