I have a new obsession: oversized tunics. I think the best thing that came out of the #NSale was this amazing blush tunic I picked up.
I wore it the other day to the Back to School Saturday event, then again to the movies, and then again out to dinner with friends. And maybe one more time while I was running errands. I might be a little obsessed. It’s so comfortable and lightweight that I can easily throw it on, and it’s not too hot to wear this time of year. Plus it looks great with everything I’ve paired it with so far!
I have really loved the blush trend this spring and summer. I think it is such a great neutral with just enough color to it.
My favorite way to wear blush has definitely been paired with white jeans and simple gold jewelry. It’s the ultimate combination of summer neutrals.

I wore this outfit to dinner with friends at Busboys & Poets on Sunday night (who knew they had a dinner menu)? It was amazing – I highly recommend the blackened tilapia sandwich and bread pudding (this diet is going really well…). It was so nice to get out of the apartment and away from the barre studio; I haven’t been out with friends in a couple weeks and it was a much needed night off from everything! I have to remind myself to take a break and get out every once in a while. It’s always good to do something different and refocus on giving myself a healthy work-life balance. I’ve also crossed another thing off my 101 in 1001 list by trying a new restaurant in DC!
