I love wearing color to the office. For me, sometimes wearing color seriously helps my attitude at the office, especially this time of year when everything seems to be 50 shades of grey around D.C. When I saw this suit back in September I knew I had to add it to my closet, and I have been seriously obsessed with it since.
Side note, these pictures are seriously making me miss my blonde hair! I love the change to the dark but seeing these are making me want to go a little bit lighter — Nadine if you’re reading, don’t kill me ha!
It’s really pink, and sometimes I feel a little bit like I’m channeling Elle Woods but I love it. It’s also surprisingly versatile and the absolute perfect Valentine’s Day outfit for the office.
Unfortunately the exact suit isn’t available anymore (it’s this blazer and pants if you love this exact suit- I love the blush too!), but Banana Republic has an equally perfect, equally pink version available!
I’m not a huge fan of , but I’ll really take any excuse to wear as much pink as possible, especially to the office. I’m planning to do a little Galentine’s Day lunch with a few coworkers and you bet I’ll be wearing this!
Blazer // Pants // Tank // Purse // Shoes
In 2017 I’m really focused on having fewer, better things. Only buying pieces that I love and will wear a lot, and this outfit is honestly what inspired it. I would argue that these 4 pieces are the most worn pieces in my closet. Whether I’m wearing the blazer on it’s own for a girls night out, pairing the shoes with a simple black dress, layering the tank under other blazers or wearing the pants on their own with a sweater, this outfit gets a lot of wear and I always feel great in any combination.
I’ll be sharing a couple other Valentine’s Day (or Galentine’s Day if you’re going to be hanging with your girlfriends like me this year) outfits in the next few days so keep an eye out!
