My weekend uniform: distressed denim, lightweight sweater, easy to wear flats and my go to, everyday purse.
I have always been so hesitant about wearing distressed denim because I felt like it looked ridiculous on me. But back in January I decided to take a chance and pick these jeans up. Since then they have become an absolute staple in my casual and weekend wear.
It’s been so nice to be able to run my errands without having to deal with the bulk of a big winter jacket the last few weekends and being able to just go out in jeans and a lightweight sweater or top! This J.Crew sweater is a great transition sweater because it’s so lightweight, I may or may not have it in five colors…
I was so excited when I was getting in line to checkout at Whole Foods and saw hydrangeas! They are one of my all time favorite flowers, but it can be so hard to find a decent bouquet. These were nearly perfect and my favorite color! I’m definitely in full-on spring mode so I couldn’t resist picking them up to brighten the apartment a little bit.

This bag is my absolute favorite. I use it every. single. day. It has held up remarkably well over the last five years. There’s a reason everywhere you look you see women carrying this bag: it’s because it’s amazing.
I love living so close to Georgetown because it has gotten so much easier to run my errands on the weekend without having to drive back and forth across the city. Everything is so close to my apartment that, especially with the warm weather here, I can walk or ride my bike to most places. It’s great.
