Fall Fringe

Fall Fringe

Y’all I have to say I am not hating this cool weather down in Ecuador. We have been in Cuenca which is up in the mountains and it’s been absolutely perfect! It feels like late September and I am in heaven. Mostly because I get to wear these amazing fall fringe booties!

Fall Fringe

Fringe is a little outside my fashion comfort zone and I won’t like I was really hesitant to pick up these booties because I was worried I wouldn’t wear them enough but I don’t think that’s going to be a problem.

They are so insanely comfortable and I love the fringe, it’s just enough without being over the top and I think they will integrate so well with the rest of wardrobe, especially some of the pieces I’ve added that are a little outside what I usually purchase!

I know it’s still summer and trust me I’m not ready to say goodbye to beach weather quite yet but I am excited to be able to start working transition pieces like these boots into my wardrobe. It’s so hard to start thinking about a fall wardrobe when it’s still 90 degrees and you’re headed to the pool or the beach but a lot of times if you wait then all the good picks have already been picked! Especially when it comes to boots!

Ecuador has been amazing so far! It’s been so great being able to visit with Caridad (the first exchange student we hosted in 2007) and her family and see where she is from. There are so many amazing parts of being involved with an exchange program but one of my favorites is definitely the connections you make that last beyond a year and the ability to travel to places you might not have ever been before and experience those places like a local! We are currently in Macas which is in the Amazon and so amazing! I can’t wait to share pictures with y’all and some tips and places you can’t miss if you make it down this way!
