As y’all know things have been crazy for me the last couple of months, and as a result things have been insanely inconsistent around here. Sorry about that, I’m working on getting back into the swing of things and slowly feeling feeling like I’m getting there. In the meantime, I thought I’d spend a little time to share what’s going on in my life lately and share the stories behind a few of my Instagrams from the last few weeks!
2016 has been off to a great start, I’ve already hit Boston to celebrate the holidays with my family, Vail where I was able to catch up with a great friend from my exchange year in high school, and Miami to spend some time with my cousin! Stay tuned for city guides for each and my next few trips I have coming up. 2015 was not my greatest year so I was relieved to have a fresh start in January!
This is also my first full month in San Diego since I moved here, which is crazy! I am definitely taking advantage of it and spending a lot of time right here enjoying my absolutely gorgeous home!
I finally bought a bed! R.I.P. air mattress, you were great for the last 6 months and definitely outlived my expectations for you but I am so happy to finally be sleeping in a real bed that isn’t on the floor!
I wouldn’t say I set resolutions this year but I definitely took a hard look at 2015 and knew I wanted to make some changes. The biggest of which being my eating habits, I’m working really hard to eat clean and put only the best food into my system. That means all of the avocados I can get my hands on, thankfully there is no shortage out here!
When February rolls around I pretty much live off of Sweethearts (they’re one of the few exceptions to my clean eating efforts, they’re only around for a couple weeks after all) and this month is no different! I’ve also spent the last couple of weeks really buckling down and planning my days and working on content calendars to try and get bree west back on track!
With the warm weather we’ve been having and a forecasted early spring I’m getting really excited for spring fashion, I picked up these amazing Jeffrey Campbell shoes this week and I am completely obsessed, stay tuned for some fun outfit posts featuring these and some other fun spring picks!
