October Favorites

I cannot believe it’s already November! October absolutely flew by, I feel like I was just in Disney last week for my Tower of Terror 10 miler and now I’m already gearing up for Wine and Dine half next weekend (definitely feels like I should have at least a couple more weeks to train…) October was a great month, definitely a busy month but I got to take some awesome trips and see so many great friends I haven’t seen in such a long time. I’m really happy to be in a new month, especially because it’s birthday month! I also love everything about November, the weather, the holidays, the general mood of the month is great, people aren’t quite stressed about the holidays yet and everyone seems to be more positive and more focused on all the amazing things we have to be thankful for. It’s a great month!

Before we get too far into the month I wanted to share some of my October favorites with you! Don’t forget to let me know what your October favorites were, I’d love to see some of them!

October Favorites, Up Up and Away

1. Dry Bar Up, Up, and Away pack:: I don’t know what’s better, the kit itself or smelling like I was just at the Dry Bar, either way I love it. The TSA approved size of the dry shampoo is great and I really like the shampoo and conditioner, I may have to go pick up a couple of full size bottles!

2. Stitch Fix:: Jury is still out on whether this is a favorite or not. I decided to give the clothing subscription service a shot after hearing so many rave reviews. They sent me a few misses and this one sweater that made the whole thing so worth it. It’s so amazing, I can’t wait to share it with y’all! I’m getting my next box this month sometime and we’ll see how that one is before I make my final decision about it.

3. iPhone 6:: I bit the bullet and got the new phone. Best. Decision. Ever. I love everything about this phone, I was so worried it would be too big but now when I pick up a 5 I can’t believe how tiny it is! The camera is absolutely amazing and the relocation of the lock button? Life changing. If you have an upgrade coming up, just do it!

October Favorites, Write 31 Days

4. Write 31 Days Challenge:: I didn’t quite get to 31 days but I loved participating in this, it was really challenging and so much fun to pick a topic and stick with it all month! I can’t wait for next year

5. Pure Barre:: Stop what you’re doing, and go see if there is a Pure Barre studio near you, you won’t be disappointed. It is literally the best workout I’ve ever done, really challenging, really intense but so much fun. You don’t really feel like you’re working out which I’m all about and the results are amazing!

Happy November everyone! Don’t forget to vote today- election day in DC is like the Super Bowl, so many parties and so much food!!
