With the holidays in full swing, is anyone else having a hard time staying on track with their wellness goals? The last couple of weeks I feel like I have done nothing but eat and drink. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been great, but I’m definitely starting to feel the effects of it and need to get into holiday survival mode!
Nicole put together an amazing Holiday Survival Guide to share with y’all and it is seriously amazing. It has everything from nutrition tips to stay healthy and combat the effects of this holiday season to ways to avoid the inevitable stress we all feel.
As I said in the first Wellness Wednesday post, it was really important to me to focus on being healthy this year. Twenty-four was a year of definite over-indulgence and I want 25 to be different. I’m already incorporating some of Nicole’s great tips, like meditating and drinking more green juice and lemon water, into my daily routines. As I keep working with her, I hope to add more tips and tricks into my daily routine! With that said, I’m still going to be enjoying my egg nog with a little bit of brandy and all the Christmas cookies I can get my hands on. This guide is definitely not about restriction, but instead is about moderation. It’s holiday survival without having to miss out on your favorite parts!
